Experience

With more than 15 years of industry experience, I have worked in profit, non-profit, start-ups, and large organizations. Each experience has taught me invaluable hands-on lessons in collaboration and creating visual communication to a variety of clients and audiences, each with their own unique needs and expectations.

EXPERTISE

As an artist and designer, I have held numerous creative and production roles, ranging from branding and identity to processing art files for a variety of print and digital media.

These roles included working in collaborative and iterative environments to self-starting projects and initiatives. I work with a focused goal of creative problem solving that brings effective and successful design solutions to employers and clients.

Education

I hold a BFA in traditional Animation, as I have always loved storytelling in one of the most expressive mediums in art. As an artist and designer, this background gives me a knowledge of communication through motion, layout, composition, shapes, silhouettes, and characters.

Personal

While I have been drawing for as long as I can remember, the first and biggest inspiration for me to truly make art and story telling a part of my life was watching the original Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles cartoon TV series as a kid. It really propelled me to develop a passion for illustration and animation.

I am also a huge fan of active story telling through the video game medium. It can pull you into the action or a narrative like no book or movie is able to because you partake in the action, exploration, drama, and worlds instead of being a passive bystander. The unparalleled interactivity brings a unique connection to story telling and I hope to see it continue to grow as a medium. Some of my favorites include: the Witcher trilogy, the Mass Effect trilogy, Telltales Walking Dead Seasons 1-3, The Last of Us, Ori and the Blind Forest, BioShock series, Firewatch, Half-Life 2, the Portal duology, The Wolf Among Us, and so many more...
